The Corporation 100% Free and Legal

The Corporation Poster Big news for doco lovers, Achbar’s award winning documentary on corporations, The Corporation, is now available 100% free and legal. Mark Achbar has started seeding a torrent of it, so that means you can download your very own copy and not feel guilty about it! Of course if you do love it (and you will!) go donate something.

The Corporation is a great documentary that takes you through the extraordinary corporate dominated world we live in. Packed full of extremely interesting interviews and footage, the film psycho-analyses the modern corporation and shows exactly what is wrong with the system. It is a must see for anyone interested in the world they live in.

The torrent download includes a high-quality rip of the master DVD and a 40 minute interview with Joel Bakan, the author of the book and writer of the film.

If you haven’t used torrents before, never fear it is very easy. The basic premise is that everyone helps to upload to everyone and the download gets done a lot faster. Go download Azureus. Then download the torrent file. Next load the torrent file in Azureus and it’ll start downloading! The more people that download the faster it’ll go. If that quick explanation didn’t make sense just google “torrents for beginner”. Once you get the hang of torrents check out Chomsky Torrents for some great downloads!

Have fun watching The Corporation this weekend, it is well worth the 2.5 hours!

  • Just saw an ad for Verizon FiOS, featured a DVR that could play to 6 rooms at once. American families have six TVs now???
  • Domain HomeAlert: 1 bed, 1 bath, good, William St, nice location, $70/week, sounds great sign me up. Oh, it's a carpark not a 'home'...#fail
  • Worse thing from Thiessen seems to be if you don't agree with him that means your siding with the enemy.
  • Plus Thiessen says advocating for the release of detainees who aren't being charged is a "radical/extremist view".
  • Thiessen says if you use your pro bono time to defend accused people you support their views. This can't be serious.
