My name is Devon Whittle and I’ve just finished my final year of Arts (Development Studies)/Law at Melbourne University. I was born in South Africa (but migrated to Australia when I was 5 years old) and I am currently completing a graduate traineeship in law in Melbourne, Australia.
My studies have included topics on international humanitarian law, trade law, refugee law, comparative and transnational law, and have allowed me to intern at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda and in the international arbitration group of an American law firm in London.
My wife and I currently live in a small apartment in an inner-city suburb and are expecting a baby boy in the very near future.
