Arushan cuisine beats the Hague?!

One of the interns here at the ICTR previously interned in Chambers at the ICTY. I was complaining to her about the lack of really good food options here in Arusha (especially compared to Melbourne) and she surprised me by saying that at least it was better than the Hague!

It turns out that while it can be difficult to find good quality here in Arusha, the consensus is that it is even harder to find it in the Hague – especially at reasonable prices.

Not sure what it says about Dutch cuisine that interns are rating it below what we get in Arusha – which is a lot of beans and rice, banana and ugali, fried chicken and chapati, all of which contain a lot of an unnamed vegetable oil.
