India as the world's peacekeeper

Did you know that India is consistently in the top three contributors of peacekeepers for the United Nations? There have been some domestic calls for India to rethink its current contribution. An interesting debate is underway. It’s easy to forget (not know about) the important role countries like India play in international peace-keeping. While the US might be the worlds sheriff, India could very well be its peacekeeper.

  • Domain HomeAlert: 1 bed, 1 bath, good, William St, nice location, $70/week, sounds great sign me up. Oh, it's a carpark not a 'home'...#fail
  • Worse thing from Thiessen seems to be if you don't agree with him that means your siding with the enemy.
  • Plus Thiessen says advocating for the release of detainees who aren't being charged is a "radical/extremist view".
  • Thiessen says if you use your pro bono time to defend accused people you support their views. This can't be serious.
