US Patents Office Revokes Four AIDS Drugs Patents

Fantastic news from Doctors Without Borders. The US Patents Office has moved to revoke four key patents on the drug tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, opening up opportunities for increased access for developing countries.

  • Worse thing from Thiessen seems to be if you don't agree with him that means your siding with the enemy.
  • Plus Thiessen says advocating for the release of detainees who aren't being charged is a "radical/extremist view".
  • Thiessen says if you use your pro bono time to defend accused people you support their views. This can't be serious.
