Like it or not this is the age of celebritised foreign politics. Bono, Jolie, Clooney. These entertainment heavyweights are now trying to use their ’soft power’ to save the world. Drezner’s article on this topic is a good overview of the issues involved, the successes and failures of celebrity activism.
