Mo Ibrahim Prize Goes to Joaquim Chissano

The first Mo Ibrahim prize for African leadership has been awarded to Mozambique’s Joaquim Chissano. Chris Blatmman wonders whether the prize, worth $5 million over 10 years plus $200,000 per year thereafter, is really going to tip the incentive balance towards good leadership.
