Smart Meters Coming to Your Home

The 7.30 Report has this interesting report on the rising cost of electricity and also, more interestingly, these new “smart meters” that show your usage in real time and in an easy to understand format. It shows you dollars, kWh and carbon being used as you turn on and off appliances. The best news is that all Victorian homes will have them in a few years.

  • Thiessen says if you use your pro bono time to defend accused people you support their views. This can't be serious.
