Devon Whittle My name is Devon Whittle and I am a second year lawyer in Melbourne, Australia.   My current work has ranged from dispute resolution to regulatory advisory to transactional.  I also am actively involved in international law projects through my position as the Vice-President of the Victorian Chapter of the Australian Branch of the International Law Association, volunteer work with the Castan Centre and other initiatives such as the Oxford Reports on International Law. I have also in the past volunteered for defence counsel at the International Criminal Tribunal for Yugoslavia.

My past studies have included international humanitarian law, trade law, refugee law, comparative and transnational law, and have allowed me to intern in the Chambers of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda and in the international arbitration group of Wilmer Hale in London.  I have also contributed to the IBA Manual on International Criminal Law, and assisted in the creation of a collection of essays in honour of Navanethem Pillay.

My wife, young son and I currently live in a small apartment in a Melbourne suburb.
